This is a real hunting simulation from Sunstorm, the guys who made the original Deer Hunter for PC. The gameplay is just like the old PC game: choose a stand from which you cannot move and wait for the bucks to come, or lure them in rather. Sometimes some patience is needed, but when finally a buck shows up, its much more thrilling than those arcade like hunting games, because you usually have just one shot! The graphics are ok but could be better: scenery look like wallpapers, you can even see the edges where they are "glued" together, snow and rain effects had rather been left out, they look rubbish! You can only choose locations in snowy Indiana or barren Texas - at least one more location with a regular green or indian summer coloured forest would be nice! You can choose from three different input modes: tilt, finger drag or control stick. And you can change the sensitivity - but even with lowest control rate I find it difficult to move the crosshair precisely, movements should be slower! Nevertheless for those who like real hunting games the best pick on the App Store!

This is by far the #1 hunting app out, its brand new and I highly recommend it. Deff worth 99 cents. You wont be dissapointed.

Game would be good if the controls were better. When i release my finger from the screen, the scope keeps moving. Why???? Its really hard to shoot anything!

It is very hard to aim and shoot. Everytime I lift my finger off it changes where it shoots...

Pretty slow paced but I feuds thats hunting need to slow down the controls for aiming hard to get on target even if target aint moving.otherthan the target control pretty realistic animals , I felt bad for killin so many

Im an animal lover, but this game is still fun to me. I like that the deer are so realistic and respond to everything; they freeze when photos are taken. I dont feel bad for the deer because I know they arent real. Would be better if you can delete individual trophies and keep your bests only.

This is a fun game. Graphics are nice. For $.99 its worth it.

I love this app. I dont know what crawled up all the others guys behinds but this is a decent hunting app for .99. Could use some work but overall its fun.

this App is a great app for people who like hunting and killing animals. its really great but theres just one problem u only get two places to hunt at and after u beat those places its just the same places u hunt at over and over and Over. but otherwise there is no problem with the game.

This game would be fun if I could get over the horrible controls. If you want a Deer Hunting game just go with Glus Deer Hunt 3D because this game isnt worth the money.

This hunting game is awesome. The graphics and animal animations/movements are smooth and well crafted. You can hunt in a variety of areas and environments. You can shoot animals you dont want to hunt with a camera too if you want hippies! People who are complaining about the controls are obviously too thick to change them to something they would prefer in the game options, lol. Choose from at least 3 ways to move/aim as well as adjust sensitivity. Great game for anyone who likes competitive shooters, you can boast/brag about your kills online as well.

Its not a bad Deer Hunting game. Although, dont expect it to last very long. It was finished in a few hours. The complete game! Their are only 2 hunting states, Texas & Indiana(I think). With about 10 areas (or levels) in each state. The graphics are great. The Game play is even fantastic. I just wish the they hadnt gotten lazy, and stopped with Texas!

Controls and graphics are sloppy at best. What a waste.

Fun once you actually spot a deer...it takes forever

It was fun when I got this a couple months ago. But there hasnt been any updates. Two states, thats it.

Man, oh Man am I ready to bag some deer! Love this deer hunting; so realistic. You get to choose from Texas or Indiana spots and 3 different weapons. So realistic down to the sounds of the woods as well as the quiet of the plains. I felt like I was out hunting but without the feeling of being cold or having to take a bathroom break. The shots are so realistic down to the cocking of the shotgun. Excellent buy. Glad I bought this one, too.
